One of the best things about Christmas is spending time with family. This year we spent the holiday at my parents house. My oldest brother's family lives out of state so we don't get to see them as often. It had been awhile since they last had family pictures taken so we decided to take a few while they were here. My cousin Matt & his wife Katie just had their first baby. Miles is so precious. I had a great time photographing this sweet baby boy.

I really love this last one. You can just feel the love that Katie has for her sweet little boy. All I can say is enjoy every minute because they grow all too quickly. Can't believe our little one is almost 10 months.

I am very fascinated by this little guy. I can't help but wonder what he thinks about all day long. Although I take hundreds of pictures of him, I find that each expression he shares with us is unique in it's own particular way.

Snow Fall

I'm actually excited about winter this year. I don't love the cold or driving in the snow but I was excited for the first big snow fall of the year. It was beautiful. Even more so I love taking pictures in the snow. There's just something magical about it. Especially seeing my little boy experience snow for the very first time.

We got to celebrate Grandpa's 90th birthday with lots of family and friends. Grandpa has been such a great example to all of us. He is always willing to serve and has taught his family the value of selfless service. We always have so much fun playing cards with him and enjoy hearing stories from his life. Thanks Grandpa for bringing so much joy to our lives! Happy 90th Birthday!

The Dominican Republic

It's been awhile since I last went to the Dominican Republic, however, I often reflect back upon the experiences I had while I was there and people I met. I have really enjoyed working with AYS and I am sad that I won't be able to join in on any trips with them this summer. I will forever be grateful for the experiences I have had and hope to participate in more humanitarian projects in the future.
